Terms of use

By creating a Parler account or paying for a plan or picture pack, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.

• You must be at least 18 years old to create a parent account.
• Children may use the service only via a parent-managed kid account (sign-in code). The parent is responsible for the child’s use.
• You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secret.

• The person who creates a school account represents that they are authorized to bind the institution to these terms.
• The institution is responsible for obtaining any parental consents and providing any notices required by law, and for its teachers’ and students’ use of the service.
• Student data on school accounts is governed by our Data Processing Addendum. See the plain-language DPA summary; a countersigned DPA is available from legal@parler123.app.
• Teachers are authorized users scoped to their own classes. The institution is responsible for adding and removing them.

• Free plan and trial. The free First Page plan includes 5 pictures a month. New family accounts get a 14-day free trial of Storybook with 30 pictures in all; no card is needed, and when it ends the account moves to the free plan with nothing charged.
• Family plans(Storybook, Bookshelf) are billed monthly or yearly and auto-renew until canceled. A yearly plan is billed once, up front, for the year; its pictures still refill every month. Canceling stops the next renewal, and you keep the plan until the end of the period you've paid for. You can cancel from your billing page or directly from the Stripe customer portal.
• School plans (Reading Corner, free for teachers; Class Library; School Library) run annually with a yearly picture allowance. Paid school plans can be paid by card at checkout, or by Stripe invoice (ACH or credit) for finance offices. Purchase orders are accepted on Class Library and School Library plans. See the Schools page for details.
• All prices are in USD. Local taxes may be added at checkout.
• We don’t issue prorated refunds for partial months unless your local consumer law requires it.
• One-time picture packs are non-refundable once any of their pictures have been used.
• We may change subscription pricing. You’ll get at least 30 days’ notice via in-app banner before any change applies to your renewal.
• If a payment fails, we’ll keep your data and downgrade your plan access until the payment is recovered. Stripe handles retries.
• If you subscribed to a plan we no longer sell (Starter, Family or Pro), you keep it at the same price and allowance until you change plan or cancel.

• Plans and packs include a number of AI pictures (called “credits” on some receipts). Each new picture usually uses 1; some choices use more (for example the “Best quality” model uses 3), and the amount is always shown before anything is made. Each person's first portrait is free.
• A plan's pictures refill every month (every year on school plans) and don't roll over.
• Pack pictures never expire and are used after your plan's pictures.
• We refund pictures automatically if a generation fails. Generation results are AI-produced and can be unpredictable; the act of generating is what we charge for, not a particular result.

You agree not to:

• Submit content that’s illegal, harassing, sexually explicit, or inappropriate for children.
• Attempt to bypass content-safety filters, scrape generated media, or automate the service in ways that put load on our infrastructure beyond normal family use.
• Use Parler for commercial republishing of generated content without our written permission.
• Share your sign-in credentials publicly, or knowingly let another household share your account. On school accounts, classroom sharing through authorized teacher accounts is permitted; sharing credentials beyond that is not.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source of the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

You own the stories, sentences, and pages you create. You grant us a license to host and process them strictly to deliver the service to you (read aloud, generate illustrations, save for replay, etc.).

We do not use your content to train AI models. AI illustrations produced for you are generated by Google Imagen via Vertex AI; per Google’s enterprise terms they are not used to train Google’s models either.

• Illustrations are AI-generated and may not match your prompt exactly. You can regenerate for the amount shown (usually 1 picture); failed generations are refunded.
• Translations and TTS audio are likewise machine-produced. We make best efforts but don’t guarantee perfect linguistic accuracy.
• Don’t rely on AI output for safety-critical or legally-meaningful text.

We may change features, plan limits, supported languages, and AI models over time. We’ll try to give meaningful notice for material changes, especially anything that reduces what you’ve already paid for.

• You can close your account anytime. Data is deleted within 30 days; Stripe billing records are kept as required by law.
• We may close accounts that violate these terms, with notice except in cases of abuse or legal risk.
• On termination, your access ends; Sections “Disclaimers,” “Limitation of liability,” and “Governing law” survive.

The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. We don’t promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI output will meet a specific need.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sacred Blue Studios is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. Total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, unless your local consumer-protection laws say otherwise.

We’ll post the effective date at the top of this page when we update these terms. Continued use after the change means you accept it.
