Why is my child's score low?

Scores compare the recording with the sentence, word by word.

After they tap My turn and read the sentence, the recording is scored the moment it uploads. The score looks at each word, and the reader points out the word to try again.

Low scores usually come from background noise, reading too fast, or starting before the recording begins. Try a quiet room and hold the device a little closer.

Scores are there to encourage another try, not to grade. Your child can record again anytime.
