A co-parent helps run the account: they sign in with their own Google or Apple account using an invite code from you.
A family viewer (a grandparent, aunt or godparent) sees only what you hand-share with them and can send hearts back. They can't edit or make anything, and don't need a Google or Apple account: just the code.
